The mission of St. Anastasia Catholic School is to provide a safe and nurturing environment rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, where Catholic doctrine and values are integrated with a challenging curriculum. The faculty, staff, and priests work together with families to develop graduates who are disciples of Christ, reflective and critical thinkers, responsible citizens, and healthy and balanced children. Inspired by the school’s crest, the faculty and staff agree to commit their lives to being disciples of Christ, build and participate in the Parish Community, and develop their own unique Christian Character in the image of Jesus Christ.

Week of 10/4/21 to 10/8/21

During the week of 10-4-21 the students will be taking a Science test on chapter 1. The students were provided with a study guide and as long as they study the study guide they should succeed on the test. I will also allow the students to bring home their science books to study the lessons in chapter one. I will be giving the test on Wednesday, October 6th.

During this week the students will also take their weekly spelling test on Thursday and their weekly reading, grammar, and vocabulary tests on Friday.

In Math we are continuing to work on multiplication, and I am very proud of the students for how hard they are working. I am going to give them a multiplication test on either Thursday or Friday on the 0 – 5 multiplication tables.

I want to thank all of the families for being such an amazing and awesome support system to myself, Mrs. McKee and last but in no way least to the awesome students in my third grade class.

I hope all of you have a beautiful and blessed weekend.

3rd Grade Prayers

Students will be verbally tested on the prayers below. The students have all been given a copy of the prayers and have been told to study them nightly. All of the testing will be completed by next Thursday, October 7th.

Our Father

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary

Hail, Mary! Full of grace, the Lord is with thee; Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.

Prayer After Meal

We give you thanks almighty God, for these and all your gifts which we have received through Christ our Lord, Amen.
